Apple, Juicing - Slightly Bruised - 1 ct
Apples that are past their prime might not be great for biting into as an afternoon snack, but they’ve still got some life left in them. Older apples are great for juicing and cooking!
In addition to juicing, you can use to make applesauce, apple butter, and for baking.
We strive to choose only organically grown or certified organic veggies and fruits from as close to home as possible. However, sometimes we are unable to find a local AND organic option, and in that event we may choose to offer a pesiticide-free local product from a farmer that uses integrated pest management on their crops. We target farms that put an emphasis on health, safety and the fair treatment of their employees, their animals and their farm. We have high standards, and so do our farms.
MORE FROM THIS FARMER
Keeping apples in a cool, dark place will help them stay crisp. The best way to keep apples fresh is to store them in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator in separate plastic bags. Alternatively, you can place a damp towel on top of the apples to help them maintain moisture.
Bruised apples should be used right away.
