Tomato, On the Vine - 1 lb
$2.98
With their stems still attached, these bright red, mildly flavored tomatoes look like they were just picked from a rich summer garden. Grown in greenhouses all year round, they're our tomato of choice when we crave pretty, fresh veggies in the middle of winter. Use in salads, sauces, or baked dishes.

From Our Farmers
To make sure you can always get the best produce and pantry items available, we source fruits, veggies and grocery items from many of our trusted local farmers and producers. As with all the products in our Marketplace, we prioritize working with local producers as seasonality allows, and we maintain our strict sourcing standards. Produce and pantry items that’s not available from Texas farmers or producers due to growing region or season will always be secondary when sourcing.
Ideally, you should not store tomatoes in the fridge. Not unless they’re fully ripe. Chilling stops ripening in its tracks, so unless your tomatoes are at their absolute peak of ripeness, you’ll never get a ripe tomato. However, if you have perfectly ripe tomatoes that you just don’t have time to use at that moment, you can store them in the fridge. A ripe tomato can last 1 to 2 days in the fridge without ill effects.
Don’t leave them to cool longer than a couple of days. Chilled tomatoes will start to dehydrate, so kiss that juicy tomato slice goodbye. Also, the flesh of the tomato will get mealy or mushy. Allow chilled tomatoes to reach room temperature before using.
