Texas Pure Milling's 7 Grain and Seed Baking Mix is a medley of chia seeds in combination with whole grain flour made from wheat, oats, buckwheat, rye, barley and sorghum. This wholesome baking mix is ideal for pancakes, biscuits, and quick bread.
BAKING NOTE: 7 Grain and Seed Baking mix does not raise as high as baking mixes made with traditional flour because of the properties of whole grain. If you'd like your baked goods to be fluffier, you may add 1/2 tsp baking powder per cup of mix.Ingredients: Whole grain flours (wheat, oat, buckwheat, rye, barley, sorghum), unbleached wheat flour, palm oil, baking powder (monocalcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch), cane sugar, whey, chia seeds, salt, potassium chloride.
- Monocalcium phosphate is derived from minerals found in nature ‑ minerals that are vital to our health and well-being.
- Sodium bicarbonate is commonly known as baking soda.
