From a quick omelet to a simmered stew, just about any savory dish can benefit from the fresh, herbal flavors of thyme. It's a key ingredient in the classic French bouquet garni, a perfectly balanced mixture of thyme, parsley, and bay leaf bundled in cheesecloth. This bouquet is essential to French soups, stocks, and sauces.

From Our Farmers

To make sure you can always get the best produce and pantry items available, we source fruits, veggies and grocery items from many of our trusted local farmers and producers. As with all the products in our Marketplace, we prioritize working with local producers as seasonality allows, and we maintain our strict sourcing standards. Produce and pantry items that’s not available from Texas farmers or producers due to growing region or season will always be secondary when sourcing.

All fresh herbs should be washed before using and storing. Rinse the whole bunch under cool running water and dry them well — whether you’re after a sprig or a giant handful, it will be ready for you whenever you need it.

Dry thoroughly and wrap them loosely in a damp paper towel. Store the bundle in an airtight container or resealable bag in your crisper drawer. The paper towel keeps the herbs just moist enough so they don’t dry out, and the container or resealable bag keeps oxygen out. They can last at least 10 days, if not a few weeks, when stored this way.
