Herb, Mint - 1 Bunch
Mint is a particularly good source of vitamin A, a fat-soluble vitamin that is critical for eye health and night vision. It is also a potent source of antioxidants, especially when compared to other herbs and spices.
To make sure you can always get the best produce and pantry items available, we source fruits, veggies and grocery items from many of our trusted local farmers and producers. As with all the products in our Marketplace, we prioritize working with local producers as seasonality allows, and we maintain our strict sourcing standards. Produce and pantry items that’s not available from Texas farmers or producers due to growing region or season will always be secondary when sourcing.
All fresh herbs should be washed before using and storing. Rinse the whole bunch under cool running water and dry them well — whether you’re after a sprig or a giant handful, it will be ready for you whenever you need it.
Treat soft herbs like a fresh bouquet of flowers. Fill a glass with cool water, trim the ends of the stems, and then place the bunch in the glass. Change the water every couple of days to keep it fresh. Store in the refrigerator covered loosely with a plastic bag. They’ll last a week or two stored this way.
