Bright and piney, with a slight bitterness that goes well with veggies and meats. This robust herb should be chopped or rubbed. Rosemary's needlelike leaves release an aromatic blast of evergreen popular in Italian cooking. It makes potatoes roasted in olive oil a side dish to remember.

Rosemary is a good source of vitamin A and beta-carotene, as well as the minerals potassium and calcium. The volatile oils in Rosemary contain natural compounds like pinene and camphene, which are terpenes that give Rosemary its intense aroma, and other phytochemicals such as cineol. These compounds give Rosemary anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-microbial properties.

From Our Farmers

To make sure you can always get the best produce and pantry items available, we source fruits, veggies and grocery items from many of our trusted local farmers and producers. As with all the products in our Marketplace, we prioritize working with local producers as seasonality allows, and we maintain our strict sourcing standards. Produce and pantry items that’s not available from Texas farmers or producers due to growing region or season will always be secondary when sourcing.

Simply wrap your rosemary sprigs in a damp paper towel and place it in a zip lock bag. Seal the bag and place it in the crisper of your refrigerator. This should keep it fresh for up to three weeks. Alternatively, you can place the wrapped rosemary inside a plastic storage container that you can reuse.
