Carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A, which can help prevent vision loss, vitamin C to protect the body from sickness, and fiber to assist with digestion. The roots also contain some vitamin K, magnesium, calcium, folate, and potassium.

As with all the products in our Marketplace, we prioritize working with local producers as seasonality allows, and we maintain our strict sourcing standards. Produce and pantry items that’s not available from Texas farmers or producers due to growing region or season will always be secondary when sourcing.
Carrots can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month if stored properly. Cut off carrot greens, place carrots in a lidded container and cover completely in water. Keep container in the refrigerator, changing the water ever 4-5 days.
