What does my order arrive in?

Your order comes in a sturdy cardboard box that will keep cool for a few hours. We highly recommend you place an ice chest with ice packs out on hot summer nights. This will help keep all your produce and grocery items fresh. Don’t have one? Let us know, we have cooler bags available for free. We just require a deposit that is fully refundable.

Where does your produce come from?

It’s Organic 2U believes in building local food systems. Encouraging our community to enjoy local food increases our food security as a nation and adds to the prosperity of our local economy. Local food also decreases the amount of greenhouse gases used to transport your food to your dinner plate. It’s Organic 2U! goal is to make local foods more accessible and convenient. Why should we not enjoy local food when it is quite simply the best food available? Remember there are working families behind every local food business including It’s Organic 2U. Why We Carry Some Non-Local Food

Local food is at the heart of everything we do, yet we also know that some household staples simply aren’t available from local sources. A home cook in Dallas will likely need lemons or olive oil, just as a cook in California may regularly use Pecans. And everyone needs coffee. The Funny Thing About Being 100% LOCAL We’ve realized that we’re most effective at helping our local producers grow their businesses if we can replace an entire trip to the grocery store for customers. Ironically, being too rigid about local sourcing actually hurts our local producers’ sales since customers have to go elsewhere for some items. So in order to grow local food systems, we supplement our local selection with some carefully-chosen products from a wider radius.

What should I do with my packaging once my order arrives?

We’re happy to recycle or reuse all of your packaging—just leave the boxes and ice packs by your door when you’re expecting a delivery and we’ll take them back.

When do you deliver?

Our delivery hours are 9am to 7pm and 9pm to 7am Tuesday through Saturday.

Where does FarmBox deliver?

Farmbox Delivery is available in most DFW Area zip codes.

Is delivery really free?

Our residential deliveries are FREE on all orders $30 or more! We do charge a $5 delivery fee for businesses.

How do I edit my order?

You can change the items in your order in My Account page any time between Friday after 5pm and Sunday at midnight prior to your delivery date. Login and go to My Account tab on the top right corner of the website. You can make substitutions up to two days prior to your delivery by calling customer service at 214-390-7417 or emailing info@farmboxdelivery.com. Unfortunately, we’re not able to postpone or cancel your order after Midnight the Sunday prior to your delivery.

How do I cancel a delivery or my service entirely?

Your subscription will automatically renew on the day after the last delivery on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time, for any reason. Should you choose to cancel your subscription, you must inform us by calling customer service at 214.390.7417. Orders cancelled after your order cut off time will incur a cancellation fee equal to the cost of your box order. Your order cut off time can be found by logging into your account and clicking “Shopping Cart”. For more information on cancellation deadlines click here CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE BY CALLING OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. DELETING ORDERS IN YOUR SHOPPING CART DOES NOT CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT. RECURRING ITEMS AUTOMATICALLY REPOPULATE UNTIL YOUR ACCOUNT IS FORMALLY CANCELLED BY PHONE.

What is FarmBox Delivery?

FarmBox Delivery was founded on the simple idea of bringing the farmers market to your door. Through our home delivery service, we make eating fresh and healthy, convenient, affordable and fun while supporting local farmers and producers.

How do you deliver such fresh food?

We work directly with our local farmers and foodmakers, which allows us to get their food to us (and then to you) in half the time of a traditional grocery store. That means better, more delicious food for you.

What kind of food do you sell?

Our marketplace consists of the best of all worlds: local and organic produce from nearby farms, sustainable meat, exceptional products from local food producers.

Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Click “join now” in the upper right hand corner. Enter your zip to see if we deliver to your area. Choose a “harvest box” that best fit your needs. (This can be changed at any time) Pick your frequency. Weekly or Bi-weekly (This can be changed at any time) Enter your shipping and billing information. That’s it!

I love your recipes! How can I get more of them?

We send new recipes every week in our harvest box. (You can also check out our Pinterest board for more recipe ideas.) If you have ideas, requests or questions about our recipes, please email our community care team—we’d love to hear what you think!

What makes shopping with with FarmBox Delivery better than the supermarket?

Lots of things! First, the food that you buy from It’s Organic 2u is much fresher and higher quality than the food you’d find at your traditional grocery store since it’s not sitting around waiting to be purchased. With It’s Organic 2U, you can search for exactly what you want and find it right away—plus you can browse the aisles and discover new products. And our recipes and meal kits give weekly inspiration so you’re never stuck trying to figure out what to make for dinner.

Why does product availability change from day to day?

We have lots of staples that are available seven days a week! But just like the produce in your farmers market, the availability of food in our marketplace can change depending on what’s ripe and in season, and according to the production, harvest or delivery schedules of our local farmers and foodmakers.

Delivery

Do I have to be home to accept my order?

Nope! we’ll gladly leave your groceries in a secure spot at your home or office, like inside an unlocked front gate or with the receptionist. All cold items are packed with reusable cold packs so they'll stay cold while you’re away. We highly recommend you place an ice chest with ice packs out on hot summer nights/days. How does my order stay cold?

All cold items are packed with reusable cold packs so they'll stay cold while you’re away. However, we highly recommend you place an ice chest with ice packs out on hot summer nights/days. Should I tip the delivery driver?

So nice of you to ask! We are committed to creating good food jobs that don’t depend on tips.

How do we choose the food in your marketplace?

We have a rigorous set of criteria that all of our food producers meet, and it covers a range of factors from sustainable farming practices to transparent sourcing to treating employees well. We also taste everything to make sure it’s all amazing!

What happens if I don’t like something in my order?

Do you carry food for people with food aversions or allergies?

We do carry lots of products that are certified vegan, gluten free, wheat free and nut free but it’s important to note that our food hub facility is not allergen free.

There’s a product that I’d love for you to carry—how do I request it?

We love product requests! Please email info@farmboxdelivery.com. with your request—if it meets our criteria, we’ll add it.
